Research and Development

One of On-IT-1’s core focus areas is on the research of new ideas, and the development of those ideas into a business marketable product.  The research and development team has had numerous peer reviewed journal articles published and has contributed towards ongoing research at tertiary levels.

Professional teams of the R&D laboratory are industry focused. Scientific papers on biometric surveillance, in which we are now industry field leaders, have been submitted for professional journals, peer reviews. Strategic alliances have been formed with departmental heads at leading universities in South Africa.

Verification testing of systems is ensured in accordance with ISO 17025. Our laboratory’s active engagement in accreditation means that quality control procedures are applied in the selection of systems which are in line with international best practise. This further allows member companies of the group to identify and use the best products available in servicing client needs.
